On 18 and 19 January 2025, OLC, partnered with the MSc Programme in Musculoskeletal Medicine, Rehabilitation and Geriatric Orthopaedics, organized a 1.5-day cadaveric workshop on ultrasound intervention. Our Overseas guest Dr Marc MONSOUR, Lecturer of the Faculty of Medicine from the University of Ottawa, and seven local orthopaedic doctors, physiotherapist, radiologist and anaesthesiologist generously shared the latest knowhow and experience in the practical use of musculoskeletal ultrasound scanning and ultrasound guided injection techniques. Participants and observers comprising orthopaedic doctors/trainees and other allied health care professionals took the opportunity to practise the newly learnt knowledge and skills on real/surrogate patients and cadaver specimen.
